DESCRIPTION

The inaugural limited edition release in the Highland Legacy Series from GlenWyvis distillery in the Highlands. Matured in a combination of first-fill Sauternes barrique (37%), first-fill Madeira hogshead (30%), “high strength” first-fill bourbon barrel (21%), and first-fill Oloroso hogshead (12%). 3,000 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Stewed pears, boiled sweets, fresh walnuts and crumble.

Palate: Cocoa nibs, orange zest, apple and pepper.

Finish: Long and nutty, dark chocolate and bitter almond transitioning to green apple.
