DESCRIPTION

A permanent release from the Lochlea distillery in the Lowlands, released in 2025 as a new addition to Lochlea’s Single Estate core range. Matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso sherry butts, and Port casks. Produced entirely on site in Ayrshire from the distillery’s own barley, distilled and matured on the Lochlea farm. Non-chillfiltered, naturally colour and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich and sweet, red fruit, pic’n’mix sweets, with a touch of vanilla caramel, and fresh baking spices.

Palate: Big, bold and juicy, with lots of cherries and sweet, sticky plums, warming tannins and ginger cake.

Finish: Long and rich, with velvety tannins, and baking spice
