DESCRIPTION

A limited edition from the Borders distillery in Hawick, released in September 2026 as the distillery's inaugural single malt and the first single malt distilled in the Scottish Borders since 1837. Produced entirely from barley grown within 35 miles of the distillery, distilled in 2018 and matured for eight years in 1st-fill American ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Malmsey Madeira casks. 10,000 bottles produced. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich sultanas, bright citrus and sweet caramel.

Palate: Ripe berries and stem ginger leading into light brown sugar.

Finish: Lingering with hazelnut and buttery macadamia giving way to dried fruits.
